DNR Meetings

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (MN DNR) on 2/16/2012 announced public meetings on proposed changes to hunting and trapping regulations..

Unfortunately, the MN DNR has left something very important off of the agenda: new proposals for the regulation of body-gripping traps to protect dogs. These proposals, Minnesota Senate Bill S.F. No. 1736 and House Bill H.F. No. 2243, were introduced on 2/8/2012 a week before the MN DNR announced the public meetings.

The MN DNR did not respond to requests to include these proposals in the agenda of the public meetings.
